I’m pleased to announce that I have just been appointed local medical director for Care UK at their Eccleshill treatment centre in Bradford.
Whilst overseeing the governance aspects of the unit’s medical staff, drawn from an expanding range of specialties, I hope to work alongside the manager to enhance and build the range services the unit offers to the people of Bradford. This is a part time post which sees a return for me to medical management. It will be interesting to see if the Private sector can innovate and progress in a way the traditional NHS seems unable to do. Care UK are a forward looking and expanding health care provider with whom I’m very keen to work.
